Geneviève Marcotte, BCL’86, appointed to the Quebec Superior Court

The Honourable Genevieve Marcotte, BCL’86, was appointed a Judge of the Superior Court of Quebec in August 2008.

Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1987, Madam Justice Marcotte had been a lawyer with Heenan Blaikie since 1998, and with Lavery de Billy from 1987 to 1998.

Over her years of practice, Justice Marcotte developped her expertise in civil and commercial litigation.
