Published: 18 January 2016

Four BCom case teams made the finals at the 38th annual Inter-Collegiate Business Competition (ICBC) held at Queen's University from January 14 to 17, 2016 with the Debate team finishing second and the Ethics team taking first place

Teams:

MIS: Camille Favreau and Mykolas Raizys;
Accounting: Isabel Moreno and Tate Lin;
Ethics: Alexandra Del Val and Alexander Norman;
Debate: Grace Chen and Matthew Meyer.

Congratulations to all eight students for wonderful performances!

In October 2015,  these teams participated in a written case competition, finishing top six. They were invited to Queen's University in January 2016, where they had 5.5 hours to analyze a new case that was then presented to a panel of representatives of the business community.

Special thanks go to all the professors who devoted their time and energy coaching the teams and to Professor Richard Donovan who also accompanied the Desautels delegation to Queen's.

The Inter-Collegiate Business Competition is Canada's oldest and largest undergraduate business case competition. Hosted annually by Queen's University students, the ICBC attracts business students from across the nation and beyond. The ICBC is an ideal opportunity for students, faculty and prominent members of the business community to interact, network and exchange ideas and experiences.
