McGill BCom students came in second overall and placed first in academic events at the 15th annual Jeux du Commerce, held from January 17-19 at the Université du Québec en Outaouais, in Hull. There were 13 universities competing at this most important academic event in Eastern Canada. McGill BCom students had their best showing in 15 years, placing first in the academic competitions (Human Resources, Finance and Debate), and came in second and third in seven other events. Out of the 16 events in which podium positions were awarded, McGill won ten podiums.

In addition, Associate Dean Richard Donovan received a special contribution award for outstanding contribution made to the games by a faculty member. Special thanks to on-site academic coaches Suzanne Gagnon and Omar Toulan.

Congratulations to all the students and professors whose hard work led to such spectacular results!
