Dr. Timothy Gilligan, Associate Professor, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine 

The lecture will discuss relationship-centered communication and relationship-centered healthcare using Cleveland Clinc as an example. Our underlying philosophy has been that relationships are a central element in healthcare and that physicians and other employees of the healthcare system benefit from help with building relational communication skills so that they can work more effectively with patients, colleagues, and co-workers. It is about both skills training and culture change. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion and question time.
