SYMPOSIUM ON FREE EXPRESSION & PEACEFUL ASSEMBLY

The McGill Faculty of Arts is pleased to present the Symposium on Free Expression and Peaceful Assembly on Wednesday, May 2 from 1 - 4:45 p.m. at the McGill Faculty Club (3450 McTavish St.) This academic symposium concludes the Free Expression and Peaceful Assembly Open Forum Series, chaired by Dean of Arts Christopher Manfredi as requested by Principal Heather Munroe-Blum following Professor Daniel Jutras’ recommendations in the Report on the Internal Investigation into the Events of November 10, 2011.

The program of the Symposium is detailed below. This is a free, public event. A reception will follow. Please confirm your attendance at rsvp.arts@mcgill.ca. Space is limited. For those unable to attend in person, the Symposium will be available for viewing via live video streaming. This can be accessed at: http://bcooltv.mcgill.ca/Viewer/?EventID=201204240072.
