The Neuro Film Series will be showing "Inception" on Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 6:30 pm.  Visionary filmmaker Christopher Nolan writes and directs this psychological sci-fi action film about a thief who possesses the power to enter into the dreams of others. In a world where technology exists to enter the human mind through dream invasion, a highly skilled thief is given a final chance at redemption which involves executing his toughest job to date: Inception.

Our host for this film is Dr. Liam Durcan of the Neuro.  Dr. Durcan was trained at the University of Manitoba and McGill University and is currently the Neurologist-in-Chief at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital. Aside from practicing medicine, he also writes and has had two books of fiction published (A Short Journey by Car--2004 and Garcia's Heart--2007). Dr. Durcan will talk about the brain from a neurologist’s perspective. There will be an opportunity for questions and comments following this.
