Montreal Field Naturalists' Club: Forest management at the Morgan Arboretum

Christina Idziak, Arboretum Curator at McGill's Macdonald Campus, will talk about forest management in an urban environment. She will focus on invasive species, particularly the Norway maple, which is quickly replacing the sugar maple. The ecological and biological reasons for this will be explained by Christina. Other invasive species discussed will include garlic mustard, the buckthorn tree and the Manitoba maple. Free, everyone welcome
