The Power of Relationship-Centered Communication in Healthcare

The lecture will discuss relationship-centered communication and relationship-centered healthcare using Cleveland Clinic as an example. Our underlying philosophy has been that relationships are a central element in healthcare and that physicians and other employees of the healthcare system benefit from help with building relational communication skills so that they can work more effectively with patients, colleagues and co-workers. It is about both skills training and culture change. The lecture will be followed by a panel discussion and question time.

The lecture will be held at the McGill Faculty Club, 3450 Rue McTavish, Montreal, H3A 0E5.
