Dr. Dorothy McComb's presentation will provide a practical and knowledgeable update on current materials and techniques that will enable the practitioner to carry out today's dentistry safely and successfully. It covers a range of topics related to optimal operative care of today's patients, with specific information on ensuring success with operative materials and techniques. At the end of the session, participants will learn how to: Choose material based on sound information; Separate fact from fiction in the area of restorative materials, where controversy and misinformation are common and commercial introductions occur rapidly; Ensure appropriate and successful use of contemporary operative materials; Understand the advantages and limitations of current materials and techniques, to allow effective usage for today's diverse patient populations.
