The BRIDGE to Convergence of Health and Economics: The Case of Fruits and Vegetables and their Health and Wealth Consequences

This workshop is part of the design process for the agri-food module of the BRIDGE to Convergence of Health and Economics. It will focus specifically on fruits and vegetables, and their health (protection against micro-nutrient deficiency, obesity, diabetes and other chronic diseases) and wealth (economic contributions for farmers, agri-food actors and healthcare cost containment) consequences. These work sessions focus on the portfolio of on-going projects related to Veggie-Kart (India) and Wholesome Wave (USA; Quebec and Ontario in development), with in-depth discussions of the current state of data, empirical analysis and computational systems science.
