PhD Student Stephanie Leite, DISE, Awarded Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship

Congratulations to Stephanie Leite, a second-year PhD student with DISE's Leadership and Learning for Sustainability lab, who has been named one of the 2022 recipients of the prestigious Vanier CGS award. Vanier awards are granted to highly qualified doctoral students who demonstrate academic excellence, research potential, and leadership.

Stephanie’s doctoral research, for which she received the award, studies the potential of transformative climate change education. Her action research project, carried out with schools in Montreal and Chicago, will examine the way that curriculum, assessment and pedagogy can work together to support transformative learning on climate change.
