Mentorship is one way to support women in the workplace

Mentors can provide guidance for professional growth and help young employees with their long-term career development. For young women, this can be especially important, according to Christine Silva and Emma Mohns, who shared their workplace experiences at the #BreakTheBias Office Hour. Hosted by Ten Thousand Coffees, a software company that seeks to empower high-potential employees to achieve career goals, the event considered ways to better support women in the workplace and be an ally, from participating in mentorship programs to ensuring that women get proper credit for their ideas.
