The first in a series of brown bags the Centre will sponsor, “How I Engage Ethics” will include theoretical perspectives on, and concrete ways in which, our speakers incorporate ethical concerns in the classroom setting. We hope to enhance faculty engagement with ethics in teaching—across all Areas in Desautels—with a view toward encouraging ethical professional comportment among our graduates. By harnessing the collective skill and wisdom of our faculty, these talks will offer ways to improve faculty proficiency in related pedagogical practices while clarifying the relationship between ethics research and its classroom applications.
