EXTENDED DEADLINE: Global and Local Community Awards

McGill medical students and residents working with underserved populations in Montreal or elsewhere have until Monday, January 4, 11:59 PM to apply for our two Global and Local Community awards:

• Alex W. Strasberg MD CM 1921 and Harvey M. Weinstein MD CM 1967 Global Health Award: open to McGill undergraduate medical students and post-graduate residents in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences who are part of a global health research project and/or clinical training related to immigrant, refugee, and/or indigenous populations, in Canada or abroad.
• Dr. Yuk Chan Ma and Dr. Yuen Kok Chan Prize in Multicultural and International Medicine: open to McGill MDCM students in good standing, from any year, who have participated in an elective, research project or community service program in Montreal or elsewhere for at least four weeks between October 1st, 2019 and September 30, 2020.
