Tuesday, September 26, 2023 09:30to11:00
Education Building Front steps, 3700 rue McTavish, Montreal, QC, H3A 1Y2, CA

Join guide-in-training, Jacky Farrell (McGill Science Outreach), for a Shinrin Yoku (Forest Bathing) walk on Mount Royal. Forest Bathing helps us slow down, open our senses and follow our curiosities. What a great way to take a nourishing break, recharge and celebrate McGill’s Biodiversity Festival!

For McGill students. Meet on the front steps of the Education Building (3700 McTavish St.) at 9:20 am to check in. We’ll be leaving at 9:30 sharp.

Registration required by Sept. 25th at noon. Space is limited so please honour your commitment.

  • There will be no bathrooms on the walk so please plan ahead. There are bathrooms available in the Education Building.
  • Bring a water bottle, bug spray if needed, dress appropriately for the weather and wear shoes/boots for walking on dirt and leaves – uphill.

This walk will be cancelled in the event of heavy rain. You'll receive an email on the 25th to confirm or cancel.
