The St. Andrews/McEuen Scholarship Foundation Chair in Canadian-Scottish Studies is associated with a variety of initiatives that support undergraduate and graduate students working in the area of Canadian-Scottish history.

These opportunities include internships for undergraduate students offered through the Arts Internship Office. Every year, several "Canadian-Scottish internships" are hosted by Scottish cultural organizations. To date, internships have been hosted by the Black Watch Museum and Archives, the St. Andrew's Society of Montreal, the 78th Fraser Highlanders, Jardins de Métis / Reford Gardens. These paid internships offer the opportunity to gain work experience in historical research and public history.

Support for graduate students in History is available through the Ian and Helgi Soutar Fund in Canadian-Scottish Studies, the John Green-Armytage Travel Award, and research assistantships and scholarships offered through the Chair.
