
The Technical Services building provides students with a machine shop that operates in support of teaching, research and research contracts. All standard shop manufacturing techniques can be utilized on wood, metals, plastics, and other materials. The shop offers:
- Machine lathes of different sizes
- Large drill presses
- Milling machine
- Sheet metal machines
- Subtractive manufacturing for wood, metal, plastics, etc.
- Plasma cutters
- Extensive welding (electric, gas, etc.) capabilities, etc.
- Labs and student workspaces
- A modern AV experiential learning area
- Individual, supervised hands-on experience
