Alternative Spring Break is an initiative taking place during McGill’s Reading Week that engages students with five days of volunteering, learning, and interacting with the local, Montreal community. Students will get to immerse themselves in social justice topics by working with local groups and organizations.
The ASB experience is a reciprocal one and is there to benefit the needs and development of the student as well as the organization. Through this program, students can:
> Make an impact in a Montreal community
> Learn first-hand about societal issues these organizations face
> Gain more understanding of citizenship and solidarity
> Build career experience
