The Department of Anthropology is inviting applications to teach a course in Fall 2026. Please complete the online application form and upload the required documents. Applications will be ranked according to the collective agreement between McGill University and the MCLIU. Preference will be given to the qualified applicant with the most priority points. ANTH 202 - Socio-Cultural Anthropology
An introduction to ways of understanding what it means to be human from the perspective of socio-cultural anthropology. Students will be introduced to diverse approaches to this question through engagement with a wide range of ethnographic cases.

August 31 – December 4, 2026: Monday & Wednesday (5:35 – 6:55 pm)
Stewart Biology Building room S1/4

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education: MA required; Priority to holders of Ph.Ds with specialization in relevant areas, or near completion of degree.
Experience: Priority will be given to candidates with relevant field research background and experience in teaching introductory courses in socio-cultural anthropology
