Benjamin Gingras

Benjamin Gingras is a research assistant working in the King Lab as a summer student. He is currently involved in different aspects of the three projects.

Benjamin Gingras completed a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of Quebec at Montreal, having undergone the honours program in neuropsychology. During that time, he contributed to the validation of a new measure for the executive functions in an aging population. He is currently pursuing a doctorate in developmental neuropsychology at the UQAM, investigating the lateralization of higher cognitive functioning as well as resilience and vulnerability effects in regards to IQ following a unilateral brain lesion. Benjamin’s primary research interests include the developing brain, epilepsy, the neurosciences of language and brain hemisphere specialization.
