Visual Schedule Builder upgrade - new features and a new look

Visual Schedule Builder (VSB) is the tool that allows you to try out various course schedules, and preview your week in a visual calendar, before you register in Minerva.

As of Tuesday, December 6, 2016, VSB will be upgraded with enhanced functionality and a new look & feel. These are the new features you'll notice:

Security warning: Spam with possible malicious attachment ""Web Business Banking Support"

A fraudulent email containing a possibly malicious attachment has been reported with the subject line "Web Business Banking Support or TD Commercial Support- New Notice Concerning Your Online Security".  A sample of one of the emails is shown below.

Phishing scam: "incoming messages are withheld ... exceeded bandwidth"

There is a phishing email circulating purporting to be from "Customized Language Programs - McGill - SCS", with a message telling users: "Some of your incoming messages are withheld because you have exceeded the bandwidth limit". The email asks users to CLICK Here to re-login and retrieve missing messages.

VPN update: Cisco AnyConnect client update to version 4.2, October 26, 2016

On Wednesday, October 26, 2016 there will be an update to the Cisco AnyConnect application, used to connect to McGill’s Virtual Private Network.

This update is a maintenance release that includes enhancements and resolves some known issues with the earlier version.
