Prof. Juncker’s better ‘vacuum cleaner’

Professor David Juncker’s group has developed a two-dimensional microfluidic quadrupole that has been likened to a tiny vacuum cleaner. This is part of a project developing microfluidic probes for studying biochemical processes at the cellular level.

Prof. Chang 'Greatest McGillian'

Professor T.M.S. Chang, Leonard Cohen and Ernest Rutherford have been voted as the Greatest McGillians of all time. Chang, director of the Artificial Cells and Organs Research Centre, invented the artificial blood cell.
