New items, including CareerTV DVDs and free publications, now available in the Career Resource Centre

On our audio/visual shelves you will find two new CareerTV DVDs, Top Healthcare Employers and Top Government Employers. You may check these out overnight or watch them at one of our computers in the resource centre.

We've also received nearly two dozen UK 2009 university calendars. If you're thinking about studying in the British Isles, these calendars are a great place to start your research.

The 128 page How the Energy Industry Works: An Insider's Guide 2008 is available on the free publication shelves in the hallway outside of the CaPS office. Come help yourself to these free resources.

We've received the latest issues of Jobs Jobs Jobs (on reserve, enquire at the front desk), the Chronicle of Higher Education, International Career Employment Weekly and Canada Employment Weekly. These last three are all accessible via myFuture, and International Career Employment Weekly and Canada Employment Weekly are also available in hard copy on the periodicals rack next to the front desk.

To access our digital subscriptions and other services, including the Vault, Career Cruising and Going Global, simply login to myFuture with your McGill e-mail address and e-mail password. Under 'Quick Links', click on ‘View Career Resources’. Choose ‘CAPS- Subscription’ from the ‘Type’ drop-down menu and then click on ‘Apply Search’.
