Negotiation Update: Post-doctoral Fellows

We are pleased to announce that the parties reached a tentative agreement on March 28 and that the Union will soon invite its membership to a General Assembly to vote on the proposed new collective agreement. The parties have agreed not to communicate the contents of the agreement until the vote has taken place.

Negotiations for Post-doctoral Fellows (Researchers) between AMURE and McGill began in June of 2021 and the parties have met regularly since then. In February of 2022, they obtained the assistance of a Conciliator appointed by the Ministère du Travail to assist them in this negotiation. The results of the vote on the new agreement will be communicated as soon as they are known.
