Join us for activities during World Restart a Heart week
World Restart a Heart (WRAH) is a global initiative that aims to increase public awareness and rates of bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). During the week of October 12, 2020, members of the McGill Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FMHS) will lead the WRAH campaign at McGill.
This student-led interprofessional initiative brings together students, residents, faculty members, healthcare professionals, and administration from the FMHS, the Steinberg Centre for Simulation and Interactive Learning (SCSIL) and the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).
With the current restrictions in place as a result of COVID-19, the team is working hard to create an engaging and informative series of virtual events, along with a high-impact social media campaign through partnerships with special WRAH ambassadors.
The goal is to educate communities across Canada about the importance of bystander CPR and to enhance CPR knowledge and skills... and ultimately, to reduce the number of cardiac arrest deaths.
