Research interests

My research focuses on the impact of planning policy on the economic, social, and spatial development of metropolitan regions in OECD countries. I am particularly interested in the emergence of transnational urban policy networks as a result of policy transfer and mobility, the role of institutions in metropolitan development and planning, as well as methodological questions related to the evaluation of planning outcomes.
