Two beautiful, distinct campuses
You’ll find McGill’s downtown campus in the heart of Montreal—in between its main shopping and business district and one of its largest, liveliest parks. A stunning mix of historic buildings, modern architecture and expansive green spaces, it’s easy to see why Travel+Leisure Magazine recently named ours one of the 16 most beautiful university campuses in the world. But it’s not all about style—we’ve got the substance to back it up. From state-of-the art labs to world-class sound recording studios, our facilities are the perfect complement to our top-tier teaching.
Are you interested in studying global issues like sustainability, food security or environmental conservation? Our Macdonald campus is the perfect place for you. Located 36 kilometers west of downtown in the picturesque town of Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Macdonald campus is home to the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and the School of Dietetics and Human Nutrition. Spanning more than 1,600 acres of beautiful waterfront property, and home to about 2,000 students, it features bike paths and ski trails alongside computerized greenhouses, culinary laboratories, working farms, and so much more.
