Money matters.

Look into different kinds of awards and grants that are available to you as a student. Here are some resources to get you started.

3M National Student Fellowships

For many years, 3M Canada has funded scholarships and awards for undergraduates in universities and college across Canada and starting in 2012, 3M added a student fellowship using the long-standing 3M National Teaching Fellowship Program for university professors as a model. The 3M National Student Fellowship Program arose out of consultations and collaboration with the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) Board of Directors and the Council of 3M National Teaching Fellows Executive. There are many external funding opportunities that you can seek depending on your personal circumstances.

McGill University is located on land which has long served as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. McGill honours, recognizes and respects these nations as the traditional stewards of the lands and waters on which we meet today.
