We are proud to launch our new MERCURY website. This site was created to help you find information and resources related to the Course Evaluation system and procedures at McGill, including:

  • suggestions for conducting mid-course evaluations;
  • strategies to encourage student participation;
  • guidelines for students on providing constructive feedback; and
  • recommendations on the interpretation of results.

The website is divided into four audiences, with the information tailored accordingly: instructors, students, Teaching Assistants, and academic unit heads/administrative staff.

We encourage you to visit and bookmark the new website, www.mcgill.ca/mercury.

Please send any feedback on the new website to mercury.info [at] mcgill.ca.

While this web page is accessible worldwide, McGill University is on land which has served and continues to serve as a site of meeting and exchange amongst Indigenous peoples, including the Haudenosaunee and Anishinabeg nations. Teaching and Learning Services acknowledges and thanks the diverse Indigenous peoples whose footsteps mark this territory on which peoples of the world now gather. This land acknowledgement is shared as a starting point to provide context for further learning and action.
