Webinar: Using Peer Assessment to Make Teamwork Work

Have you ever assigned students a team project that ended in conflict within the groups and students complaining about peers not pulling their weight? Or are you looking for ideas on how to design a team project in a pedagogically sound way? Join us on April 25, 2018 for a 30-minute webinar—12:15-12:45pm—where we will introduce you to a framework you can use to implement peer assessment in support of effective teamwork.

The webinar will be followed by a brown bag session on May 9, 2018 from 12:15-1:30pm where Marta Cerruti, a professor in the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering, will describe the highs and lows of her experience having students do peer assessment of teamwork. Come with questions!

Not available to join us for the webinar? Register for the webinar anyway so that you’ll have access to a recording (available 48 hours after the live event).
