Brown Bag Session: Using Peer Assessment to Make Teamwork Work

McLennan Library Building Room MS-74, 3459 rue McTavish, Montreal, QC, H3A 0C9, CA

Have you ever assigned students a team project that ended in conflict within the groups and students complaining about peers not pulling their weight? Or are you looking for ideas on how to design a team project in a pedagogically sound way? Join us on May 9, 2018 for a Brown Bag session where Marta Cerruti, a professor in the Department of Mining and Materials Engineering, will describe the highs and lows of her experience having students do peer assessment of teamwork. Come with questions!

The Brown Bag session will be preceded by a webinar on April 25 2018 from 12:15-12:45pm. Not available to join us for the webinar? Register for the webinar anyway so that you’ll have access to a recording (available 48 hours after the live event).
