TISED Sustainability Education Workshops (SEW) Initiative
WHAT: The TISED Sustainability Education Workshops Initiative provides funding to professors to develop teaching materials that can be used by themselves and other instructors to help integrate sustainability topics into undergraduate and 500-level graduate courses (existing and new).
FUNDING: Funding of $7,000 per project is available to the faculty member to collect materials and develop sustainability education teaching content. The funds may be used to support a graduate student or another HQP person to conduct the work under the supervision of the faculty member, to purchase materials, software, case studies, etc. Funds will be dispersed into the faculty member’s discretionary fund as follows; 70% upon project award and 30% upon receipt and review of the deliverables.
DELIVERABLES: slides, notes, and case studies/assignments for ~1 hour of lecture content, as well as the delivery of the said workshop content in the inaugural Sustainability Education Workshop Series (to take place in Phase 2).
