Salmaan Craig

Prof. Craig studies how to disinvent air-conditioning units to limit future carbon emissions in mid-latitude and tropical regions. His research involves using the principles of heat-exchanger design to develop new building materials, conducting natural ventilation experiments, exploiting radiative cooling in desert climates, learning about the architecture of termite mounds, and understanding the peculiarities of thermal sensation.
