 Fall Reception\, our first event of the new academic year!\n\nWhether you 
 are already familiar with the Centre or are just discovering us\, this eve
 ning is a chance to learn more about who we are\, the Centre’s ongoing act
 ivities and initiatives\, as well as connect with fellow students and memb
 ers of the McGill & Greater Montréal community interested in global Chines
 e studies as we mark the start of the academic year.\n\nWe are also deligh
 ted to welcome three partner organizations — JIA Foundation\, the Canada C
 hina Business Council (CCBC)\, and the Jiu Ding Scholarship Foundation — e
 ach of whom will offer a few brief remarks about their organization\, the 
 work they conduct\, and the communities they support. Following the introd
 uctions\, we’ll enjoy a casual reception with light refreshments and plent
 y of time to mingle\, ask questions\, and make new connections.\n\nThis co
