What are the principles of sustainable urbanism? What are the approaches to design evaluation systems and best practices for decision-makers, developers, consultants, researchers, development professionals, municipalities, and institutions? These questions are central to sustainable urban planning and the cities of the future.
The Québec Chapter of the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC) is hosting a day-long event "Urbanisme durable et villes de demain" and evening event "Copenhagen pioneering urban sustainability : the Nordhavn ecodistrict project" to address these questions. TISED and McGill's School of Architecture and School of Urban Planning are sponsoring these activities and encourage you to register today!
