TISED currently supports McGill graduate fellowships that are funded through generous donations, from: TOTAL E&P Canada - the TOTAL ISEAD Fellowship and Howard Stotland and Vivian Miller - the Stotland Family ISEAD Fellowship.
TISED also supports fellowships for research projects related to sustainability. The fellowships, with leveraged funding, are awarded for three years and are administered as part of the McGill Engineering Doctoral Award (MEDA) program by the Faculty of Engineering.
TISED supports fourteen in-course Undergraduate Scholarships that are funded through generous donations. The Faculty of Engineering administers these scholarships. TISED actively encourages its industrial partners to provide openings for student interns. The initiative forms part of the larger Faculty of Engineering internship program administered by the McGill Engineering Student Centre (MESC). TISED will involve many stakeholders in its governance - in consultative and advisory roles as well as management, governance, and direction-setting. More information on our committees, working groups, and volunteer opportunities is forthcoming so keep checking back in with us.

TISED's mission is to produce innovative engineering and design solutions and intellectual capacity that enables us to protect and nurture Earth and its’ inhabitants to meet the needs of current and future generations.
Our overarching goals are:
TISED aims to inform public opinion on sustainability issues in engineering, design, and urban planning. Through different activities, we strive to enhance public policy, education, and research. We are building our efforts towards educating future engineers, urban planners and architects by integrating sustainability into undergraduate and graduate courses and programs. As well, we support student development in their research and academic paths.
