Programs

Surgical and Interventional Sciences, in conjunction with the McGill Faculty of Graduate Studies offers graduate level training programs in Surgical Research, leading to Ph.D., Master's, Surgical Innovation Graduate Diploma or Certificate degree. The Ph.D. and Master's core stream graduate programs have long been recognized as one of the strongest training programs in the area of surgical research in Canada, and has a reputation for training some of the most well-known research leaders in surgical research. At the Master's level, in addition to the core Surgical and Interventional Sciences stream, those who are interested have the opportunity to choose concentrations in Surgical Innovation, Surgical Education, Global Surgery, or a Non-Thesis M.Sc. option.
