Westmount Science Camp

Summer science

If your child delights in science, Westmount Science Camp is a great way to to encourage his/her passion.

At Westmount Science Camp children ages 6 to 13 can engage in hands-on science activities on a daily basis throughout the summer. The camp also boasts a low ratio of campers to counselors which allows counselors to spend more personal time with each camper.

Typical daily schedule

8:30am: Drop off campers at Westmount High School, 4350 Saint Catherine St W, Westmount, QC H3Z 1R1

9:00am-12:00pm: Science activities, delivered by university science students and teachers in the well-equipped school labs. Emphasis on hands-on activities, different themes every day. Breaks as necessary.

12:00-1:00pm: Lunch, nut free, outside in park/school fields when possible. The gymnasium is available.

1:00-4:00pm: Outdoor activities, splash pool, soccer, reading, supervised free time, badminton, other games.*

*Additional science activities are available in the afternoon for campers that want more science/less outdoors. Field trips are held every week at a University campus. (Drop off and pick-up is then at that location - details are sent to you). Special science activities are offered by the universities for our campers on field trip days.
