The 2018 McGill Summer Academy is now full. We are excited to welcome everyone to campus this summer!

 


Registration for McGill Summer Academy is a two-step process. Please read these steps carefully to understand how our registration works and what you will need for registration. 

Registration for McGill Summer Academy will open on February 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. (UTC-5, EDT). 

 

During this step, you will select which course you want to take. By completing this step, you will be reserving your spot in the McGill Summer Academy program. 

How to: Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Links will be posted on our website on February 7, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. UTC-5, EDT. These links will connect you to either our Registration fee payment for the Humanitarian Crisis or Understanding the Brain course. Open the link to your desired class. You will then be redirected to Service Point Checkout, our secure McGill payment website. 

2. Fill out the appropriate fields and upload the required documents. Click  

3. Verify your shopping cart and click 

4. Use Guest Checkout and click 

5. Read the privacy statement. Check the box, fill up the fields with a parent or guardian's information and click 

6. Verify your payment information for the $500 nonrefundable fee. * * * Do NOT select 'Priority Handling' * * * Your registration will not be any faster and we will not be able to refund you the $15. 

7. Click 

8. Review your order and verify information. Click 

9. Enter credit card information and click 

10. You will receive an automated message from Service Point Checkout when you complete your registration. The Summer Academy Team will email you within 10 business days to provide you with more information as well as further forms that will need to be completed and signed in order to finish step 2. 

Important Points to Know

Spots are limited. Last year spots filled up quickly, so register early!

If all spots in a class are full, please go back to the Summer Academy website and fill out the waitlist form to have your name added to our waitlist. Spots will most likely open up, so please put your name on our waitlist and we will email you once a spot becomes available.

A link to the waitlist will appear on our website once all spots have been filled. 

What you will need

1. A scanned copy of your valid government issued ID. PDF Only, max 5 MB

  • For Canadian citizens and residents: your provincial Health Insurance card (such as RAMQ or OHIP)
  • For International students: your passport (must be valid by August 2018)

2. Page 2 of the * Registration form *, completed and signed. Download Here: PDF icon 2018 Registration Form

  • This document is fillable PDF and therefore, can be signed electronically by clicking the  button and using your electronic signature. 

3. A valid credit card

4. A scanned copy of your Unofficial High School Transcript. PDF Only, max 5 MB 

  •  The transcript is to show that you are, indeed, currently in grade 10 or 11. While we don't have any Academic requirements we recommend that students have equivalent to a B average. To learn more about our Academic and Language requirements, please refer here.

 

 

This step completes your registration for McGill Summer Academy. Forms and full program fees are due March 16, 2018 and requires you to successfully complete Step 1 first. 

How To: Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Once you have completed Step 1, you will receive an email from the Summer Academy Team within 10 business days. This email will include another link to Service Point Checkout and a few more forms that will need to be signed and completed.

2. Fill out these forms, open the Service Point Checkout link and upload the completed forms.

3. Check out by paying the Full Program Fees and get ready for an exciting summer!
