Mathematics & Statistics (Sci) : Modern discrete data analysis. Exponential families, orthogonality, link functions. Inference and model selection using analysis of deviance. Shrinkage (Bayesian, frequentist viewpoints). Smoothing. Residuals. Quasi-likelihood. Sliced inverse regression. Contingency tables: logistic regression, log-linear models. Censored data.
