Vue d'ensemble

Historique : This course examines the life choices available to women and men of the Middle Ages: how opportunities and restrictions of medieval society affected personal autonomy, careers, and relations between the sexes. Topics include: sexuality, religious life, marriage, work. Emphasis on learning techniques for reading and writing about primary sources (in translation).

Terms: This course is not scheduled for the 2010-2011 academic year.

Instructors: There are no professors associated with this course for the 2010-2011 academic year.

  • Restriction: Open only to newly admitted students in U0 or U1, who may take only one FYS. Students who register for more than one will be obliged to withdraw from all but one of them.
