Target McGill is an exclusive residence and campus preview weekend that provides admitted undergraduate students the opportunity to spend a few nights in a student residence on campus, learn more about the campus culture, explore the city of Montreal, and to get to know future classmates before orientation at the end of August. The program is designed to help you meet and bond with fellow first year students while participating in activities that include a nighttime hike up Mont Royal, information sessions on student life at McGill, taste tests of Montreal's famous bagels, campus tours, day trips to Montreal’s biggest attractions, and a banquet dinner.
Participants are joined by Target Leaders who offer information about life in residence, getting involved with Rez Life leadership programs, and tips on getting connected on campus while balancing academics and the social scene.
The cost for the Target McGill weekend is $200 and includes six meals, two nights accommodation in a McGill residence, and entertainment. Early arrivals and late departures are subject to additional costs. When you fill out the registration form, you will be prompted to enter your McGill student ID number and McGill email. After completing the form, all fees will be billed to your student account on Minerva.
