This year, the Selection Committee is pleased to note that there were 17 nominations, with every Student Life and Learning unit represented! The Recipients and the Nominees have all made outstanding contributions to enhancing student life and learning at McGill, and the Committee was greatly impressed by the dedication, collaboration, and creative thinking that is continually being demonstrated throughout our SLL community.

The Selection Committee was impressed with the initiatives Rachel has taken to increase accessibility across the University, and with Rachel's collaborative approach, working with, and consequently impacting, students, faculty and staff from every corner of McGill.

The Selection Committee was impressed with how Amanda and Gilbert's collaboration led to a more holistic approach to prepare students for off-campus living, and with their ability to work with stakeholders from multiple units across the University to develop a truly student-centered program.

The Selection Committee was impressed with Kira's passion for, and commitment to, supporting students' learning experiences at McGill and advocating for an enhanced community in the classroom.

The Selection Committee was impressed with how Edith handles each student's individual case with care, diligence, and empathy, and with Edith's ability to work in harmony with campus partners to support staff working with students in difficulty.
