Cancel/Reduce Award Payments Form
Please use the Award Summary/Search in Minerva to obtain the information required to complete this form.
NOTE: Awards are processed by the system twice a day on a daily basis - 5am and 3pm. It's recommended to submit the form before 2:30pm.
Awards should be cancelled for the following reasons only:
- Student is not eligible based on the terms/conditions of the award/stipend
- Student was overpaid/over funded
- Student received a duplicate payment
*If you need to modify a payment method or change a disbursement date, you do not need to fill out the Cancel/Reduce Award Payments Form, you can send an email to student.funding [at] mcgill.ca (subject: Award%20Modification%20Request) (Student Funding).
IMPORTANT: Do not use this form for awards/stipends paid from incorrect FOAPALs. Please request a reassignment in order to make changes to funding sources.
