 he 21st century. In the face of these challenges\, a high premium is being
  placed on leadership for health that spans the local to global and stretc
 hes across sectors and public-private divides. Through a focus on hot-topi
 c issues and animated by thought leaders\, this forum will consider how fi
 t-for-purpose leadership for health can be nurtured more effectively throu
 gh health professional training.\n\nFeaturing keynote speakers Drs. Lincol
 n Chen and Julio Frenk\, co-Chairs of the Lancet Commission on Health Prof
 essionals for a New Century with facilitator Victor Dzau\n\nThe Commission
  on Health Professionals for a New Century issued sweeping recommendations
  in 2010 to transform health professional education to achieve health equi
 ty. Nearly a decade after\, public health crises are becoming increasingly
  complex and threaten health\, health equity and well-being in the 21st ce
 ntury. To address these challenges\, more focus is being placed on health 
 leadership that spans the local to global\, stretching across sectors and 
 public-private divides.\n\nJoin experts from across fields to discuss how 
 fit-for-purpose leadership in health can be nurtured more effectively in t
