McLennan Library Building Room MS-74, 3459 rue McTavish, Montreal, QC, H3A 0C9, CA

Looking to start a blog or inject new energy to your existing one? This workshop, presented by Graphos in collaboration with GradLife McGill, provides an opportunity for you to hone your blog writing so that it is clear, concise and catchy.

Attend and you will learn how to sharpen a blog post's key elements:

  • the title
  • the lede
  • the closing

Images will be covered in the #Next Level Instagram workshop

Bring your laptop and be prepared to write!

Note: Those who would like to go further and refine a post for GradLife McGill are encouraged to sign up for a peer review session with 5-7 students. You will submit your work, provide comments on the other posts, and participate in a one-time group discussion to improve your post.  In return, your post could be published! It's a great way to start blogging or draw GradLife’s readership to your existing blog.

As a McGill student, your participation in activities such as training workshops and volunteering are tracked on your Co-Curricular Record (CCR)! Having your co-curricular activities listed in one document can help you revise your CV or cover letter, prepare for interviews, and explore career options. Learn how to leverage this important document through myInvolvement, and make your training count!
