My thesis aims to understand how persuasive discourse may differ between autistic and neurotypical adolescents, and how the listener’s perception of the persuasive argument may colour the judgements of its effectiveness. This can inform how both autistic and neurotypical adolescents can adequately convey information in social situations to get the desired change they want as they develop their sense of identity and their expression of their values, morals, and opinions
