Project title: Amphibian occurence in relation to environmental variables
Project description (50-100 words suggested): This is a research project investigating the variable occurrence of 8 species of amphibians in relation to environmental variables such as temperature, precipitation and water levels. Data will be compiled from field notebooks for 2 -3 representative years spanning up to 2 decades. The data will then be analyzed to look for significant patterns of occurrence ans the results will be written up in the form of report.
Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.
Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): Final grade shall be based on an evaluation of research performance (20%) and a final written report (80%).
Project status: This project is taken. The professor has no more '396' projects this term.
