Project title: Sask Landing Prov. Park dinosaur preparation and description

Project description (50-100 words suggested): The site to be covered will be in Sask Landing Provincial Park and part of the Dinosaur Park Formation. The student will create a digital quarry map for the site, describe and catalogue collected specimens to determine paleofauna, and prepare collected fossil specimens. The student will describe and prepare a potentially new species of ceratopsian collected at the site. Data from this project will be combined with other projects in order to fully understand the paleobiodiversity and paleoenvironment of the site from Sask Landing.

Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.

Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): Report: 50%; Laboratory: 50%
