Project title: Genome-wide Imputation for Several Epigenetic Studies

Project description (50-100 words suggested): The student will use imputation software to take SNP data from genotyping arrays and estimate genotypes at millions of other sites, through referencing against the 1000 Genomes and UK10K databases.   If time permits, this will be performed for 2-3 existing SNP data sets.

Prerequisite: 1 term completed at McGill + CGPA of 3.0 or higher; or permission of instructor.

Grading scheme (The final report must be worth at least 50% of final grade): laboratory  performance (40%), a final written report (50%), and an oral presentation (10%)
